Coomb View is set in a rural location on our 100 acre farm. Six miles North East of Kendal and only four miles to the nearest junction of the M6. Northern towns and cities are very accessible. Manchester and Liverpool being 1 hour and 15 minute drive away and a 50 minute drive from Scotch Corner on the A1 for the North East.

Coomb View is perfect for a relaxing break after a busy day of sightseeing and activities that both the Lake District and the Yorkshire National Park have to offer.

Our guests have easy access to the Lakes and Mountains (North and South Lakes) market towns of Kendal and Sedbergh both of which provide numerous activities. A car is necessary.



The prices shown on screen for your stay are fully inclusive and there are no extra charges for booking fees, credit/debit card fees. There are no meter or charges for Fuel/Electricity/WI-FI. However a refundable damage security deposit of £100 will be required with your final payment.

Security Deposit

A refundable damage security deposit is payable on all bookings and must be paid for through our website. A £150 deposit is payable upon booking with the remaining balance which includes the damage security deposit due six weeks before your arrival date.

Late Bookings

We welcome last minute stays at Coomb View. With bookings made 6 weeks or less we would require full payment at the time of booking.


Full directions will be supplied 7 days prior to check in date together with check in and key collection details.

Arrival and Departure

Guests may check in from 3pm on their arrival date and we ask guests to vacate Coomb View by 10am. We need this time to thoroughly clean and prepare for the arrival of our next guests.

Infant Equipment

We supply complimentary use of a highchair and travel cot simply add the items you require when you book.


Coomb View has allocated sage parking adjacent to the property for a minimum of two cars


The house layout is over 2 floors and may be challenging for those with limited mobility. We have prepared a detailed access statement for Coomb
